Heavy Hex Head Structural Bolts

Heavy Hex Head Structural Bolts are designed for “steel to steel” connections.  They are used in a variety of applications such as: office towers, stadiums, bridges, petro-chemical facilities, and other structures requiring steel to steel connections.  

ASTM A325 and A490 bolts are manufactured as a heavy hex head bolts per the ASME(ANSI) B18.2.6 specification and offered in Type 1 or Type 3 (weathering steel) materials.  A325 bolts are also available as A325T, threaded to the head, for lengths up to 4 times the diameter.  A325 bolts are usually supplied as plain or galvanized (hot dipped or mechanical) and may be supplied with other coatings upon request. A490 are usually provided plain.  A490 bolts Type 1 may be supplied with a protective coating per ASTM F1136.
