Tension Control Bolts 

Tension Control Bolts (TC Bolts) are supplied as an assembly consisting of bolt, nut and washer.  They are offered as ASTM 1852 (A325) and ASTM F2280 (A490) materials. TC bolts are engineered to achieve a more accurate tensioning of the bolt.  More accurate tensioning is achieved by the bolt assembly being calibrated not the installation tool.  The spindle tip shears at the appropriate tension making it impossible to under or over tension the bolt.  TC Bolts use a single sided installation.  Single sided installation simplifies installation, decreases installation time while significantly reducing labor cost. Typically tension control bolts are supplied in a plain condition. Infasco now offers the high corrosion resistant coating INF3013 for specific applications. Both finishes meet the requirements of the ASTM F3125 specification.
